Woods Waste was established by brothers David (DB) and Antony (Ants) Woods in 1988.
Since the early days of contracting to WCC providing the ‘old school’ weekly back door collection service for the Ngaio, Crofton Downs and Wadestown areas they have grown their business into a significant operation covering all aspects of waste collection.
From these humble beginnings with one very old TK Bedford truck they have built up a fleet of 12 late model vehicles servicing hundreds of Wellington homes, businesses and institutions by providing a comprehensive loose waste collection in conjunction with full bin service with bins ranging in size from 120lt wheelie bins through to 30m3 Dino bins.
The Woods boys are still very much involved in the day to day operation of the business, be it manning the phones or delivering jumbo bins around town.
Woods Waste specialises in those hard to solve waste problems and no job is either too small or too large for them to handle. Woods Waste Ltd also operates a comprehensive bin service to the greater Wellington region covering all suburbs from Cooks Strait north to Te Marua and Pukerua Bay.
